Daniels College of Business ranked by Poets & Quants
The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business was ranked No. 58 in the nation for best undergraduate business schools by Poets & Quants. The online graduate and undergraduate business education news publication announced its 2020 rankings Dec. 20.
This ranking puts the Daniels College of Business in the top 1% of all AACSB accredited schools. There are 799 business schools in 53 countries and territories that have earned AACSB accreditation.
“We are honored to be recognized among the top business schools in the nation,” says Daniels Dean Vivek Choudhury. “This ranking reflects our continued effort to prepare our students to add value to their workplaces on day one.”
Poets & Quants for Undergrads compiled the ranking based on the incoming quality of students, an alumni survey and employment outcomes.
“We understand that the world is changing fast and businesses will operate differently in 10 years. We’re educating our students to flourish in this dynamic environment. One of the first courses our students take is called the Fourth Industrial Revolution – students not only learn about emerging technologies, they are required to develop a plan for a viable business using one or more of the technologies,” says Dean Choudhury.
“Our faculty are experts in their fields and bring cutting edge knowledge into the classroom,” says Lisa Victoravich, associate dean of Daniels undergraduate programs. “To assist students with finding the right job prior to graduation, Daniels integrates professional development as part of the core curriculum and provides a career services team dedicated to serving undergraduates.”
