Why did you choose Daniels
I chose Daniels for several reasons, but first and foremost for the cohort model it provides and the small classroom size. The curriculum includes challenges culminating in an international business consulting trip. The DMBA program allows me to learn in a very collaborative environment with real-world applications and deliverables I can build on for my future career.
Previous Education
BS in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia
Pre-Grad School Experience
Upon graduating from Mizzou, I joined the U.S. Army as a medical service officer. After initial training, I served at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for three years, leading medics and doctors and conducting medical planning for my unit. I then went to flight school in Alabama, becoming an aeromedical evacuation officer and trained Blackhawk pilot. I spent one year in South Korea with DMZ Dustoff gaining valuable experience as a new MEDEVAC Pilot. I ended my Army career in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, serving in the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade in numerous roles from MEDEVAC platoon leader to operations officer at my company, battalion and brigade level.
Post Grad School Goal
I will be utilizing and leveraging my Army experience in combination with my MBA to transition into the corporate sector in a product or project management role with an eye towards leadership within a company.
Hobbies
I enjoy skiing once the snow starts falling. Out in the world and off the slopes, I enjoy amateur film photography. At home, I play guitar and video games and enjoy hanging out with my cat.
