Eric Fu


Biography at a Glance

Eric Fu is an adjunct professor in the Department of Business Information and Analytics at the Daniels College of Business. Eric started teaching at the College in 2021. He currently teaches Data Management Platforms, which is part of the master’s of business analytics coursework at DU.

Eric is currently a senior consultant in the Strategic Workforce Planning department at Xcel Energy. He consults with business leaders to support the company’s clean energy goals via strategic workforce planning and people analytics. He collaborates with partners and subject matter experts to build analytical workforce models, unlock data-driven insights and influence key stakeholders in strategic decision-making.

Eric is a firm believer in incorporating soft skills and real-world business examples in classroom instruction. His prior pedagogical experience in academia, coupled with his current experience in the industry, puts him in a unique position to do so.
